More Information on Sleep

By coral | In Tips, Uncategorized, WOD | on July 17, 2013

Sleep is such a critical component to anyone training regimen and is often overlooked or underestimated. Enough sleep the night before some hard training could mean the difference between making a PR or having a bad day at the gym. It’s really amazing actually how important sleep is. To help educate everyone I have linked an awesome article with a great info-graphic that covers your nightly sleeping as well as mid day naps. The do’s and don’t of both can help lead you to a more rested and recovered self. Take a look!

Ugh, I have a 2+ hour conference call starting at 2:30pm. How am I gonna fit in my nap before 5pm? Well, unless I nap during the call 🙂

I’ve been using a Jawbone Up since April which tracks your sleep, and it has been very enlightening. It has really helped me dial in my sleep.
